Tucket Grab privacy
Tucket Grab collects nothing about you. Here is exactly what it reads, what it keeps and the one thing it ever sends.

What it reads
Grab reads a web page only when you open the panel on that page. It has no view of your browsing, your other tabs or your history.
Colours, fonts, SVGs and screenshots stay inside your browser until you copy, download or send them somewhere yourself.
What it keeps, and where
On your own computer, and nowhere else:
- Screenshots, inside the extension’s own storage, so the result tab can show them. They are deleted after a day, or once five newer captures exist.
- Your colour format, and the colours you picked with the eyedropper.
- Where you left the panel on each site.
- Cached answers about whether a font is free, kept for a month.
Nothing is synced, and there is no account to sync it to.
The one request it makes
When the Font tab finds a web font that the page does not name a source for, Grab asks Fontsource whether that font is free to download.
Only the family name is sent, for example “Inter”. Never the address of the page you are on, and nothing that identifies you. The answer is cached on your computer for a month. This is the only request Grab makes on its own.
Reading an SVG from a page is a request to that same site, exactly as the page already made when it loaded the file.
With Tucket for Mac
If Tucket 1.3.9 or newer is installed, Grab hands what you capture straight to it through your browser’s native messaging, along with the address and title of the page it came from, so Tucket can file it by site.
Extract text and Remove background also run inside Tucket, on your Mac, using Apple’s Vision. None of this goes over the network.
What it does not do
- No analytics, no tracking and no accounts.
- No remote code: everything it runs ships inside the extension.
- Nothing you capture is uploaded, to me or to anyone else.
Links from Grab to this site carry a utm_source tag, so I can count how many visits came from the extension. That is a normal web link, and it tells me nothing about you. Links to font stores open only when you click them.
