Terms of Service
The agreement between you and me when you buy and use Tucket. I have tried to keep it in plain English rather than boilerplate.
Last updated 8 August 2026
Who you are dealing with
Tucket is a macOS app made and sold by Arpit Chandak (“I”, “me”). Buying or using it means you accept these terms. If you are installing it for an employer, you are confirming you may accept these terms on their behalf.
What you are buying
A lifetime licence to use Tucket, for a single payment of $10 USD, or the promotional price shown at checkout at the time you buy. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel.
- You may activate your licence on up to 3 Macs that you own or control.
- Replacing a Mac? Deactivate the old one in Settings → License to free the slot up.
- All future updates are included, for as long as I keep making them, at no extra cost.
- The licence is personal to you and is not transferable or resellable.
What you may not do
- Share, publish, resell or sublicense your licence key.
- Redistribute the app, or bundle it into another product, without written permission.
- Attempt to defeat the licensing, or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law expressly gives you that right regardless of contract.
If a licence key is being used well beyond three machines, I may deactivate it. I will always try to contact you first, because the overwhelmingly likely explanation is something innocent.
What you need to run it
macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on either Apple Silicon or Intel. Tucket is distributed directly rather than through the Mac App Store, and it is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens without a Gatekeeper warning.
Tucket asks for Accessibility permission so that clicking a clip can paste it for you. You can decline and still use everything else; only paste-back depends on it.
Payment and tax
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as the merchant of record for the sale. Your contract of sale for the payment itself is therefore with them, and they handle invoicing along with any VAT, GST or sales tax that applies where you are. The price shown at checkout is what you pay.
Refunds
If Tucket is not for you, email hello@arpitchandak.com within 10 days of buying it and I will refund you in full. No forms and no justification needed. Your licence is deactivated when the refund is processed.
Support
Tucket is made by one person, so support is best-effort rather than a guaranteed response time. In practice I answer email, and I would rather hear about a problem than have you quietly give up on it.
Updates and changes to the app
Tucket will keep changing. Features may be added, reworked or occasionally retired if they stop making sense or an Apple API disappears from underneath them. I will not remove something central to why you bought it without a very good reason and a clear heads-up.
I cannot promise the app will be developed forever. If I ever stop working on it, your licence keeps working on the version you have.
Your data
Your clipboard history stays on your Mac; I never receive it. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Warranty and liability
Tucket is provided “as is”. I have tested it and I use it daily, but I cannot warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will suit a particular purpose you have in mind.
To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you for anything arising out of Tucket is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by any of this.
Tucket is a convenience for things you have already copied, not a backup system. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Ending the licence
You can stop using Tucket at any time. I may terminate a licence if these terms are seriously breached, for example by redistributing the app or circumventing the licensing. If I do that outside the refund window, you will not be refunded.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version applies to purchases made after it. I will not retroactively alter the deal on a licence you have already bought.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protections of your own country’s consumer law, and this clause does not take those away.
