What works from anywhere?
| Shortcut | What it does |
|---|---|
| ⌘⌃V | Open the popup |
| ⌘⌃X | Quick Edit, a scratch pad holding your current clipboard text |
| ⌘⌃B | Paste Board, the floating panel that stays open |
| ⌘⌃L | All Clips, the full library window |
| ⌘⌃1 – ⌘⌃9 | Paste the 1st to 9th most recent clip instantly, no window |
| ⌘⌃0 | Paste the 10th most recent clip |
These work whatever app you are in, as long as Tucket is running.
What works inside the popup?
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| ⌘1 – ⌘9 | Paste that clip, or select it when multi-select is on |
| Return | Paste the first result |
| Esc | Close the popup, leave multi-select, or stop clips that are pasting |
What works in All Clips?
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
| Arrow keys | Step through clips. Left and right on the board, up and down in the list. |
| Space or Return | Open the preview for the chosen clip |
| Esc | Close the preview |
Can I change them?
Not yet. The global shortcuts are fixed at ⌘⌃ plus V, X, B, L and the number keys. Settings → Opening Tucket lists them, and they keep working even with hovering switched off.
If one of them collides with something you rely on, email me and tell me which. That is the kind of thing I would rather hear about than guess at.
