How do I remove a background?
- Right-click the image in the popup or in All Clips.
- Choose Remove Background.
- Paste or drag the result out as normal.
What does it work well on?
It uses Apple’s Vision subject lift, the same model behind the version in Preview, so anything with a clear subject comes out cleanly: product shots, people, a single object on a busy desk.
For flat line art with no real subject, like a signature or a logo, it falls back to a document keyer that drops the paper and keeps the ink.
Good to know
- It runs on your Mac. The image is not uploaded anywhere.
- The result is a new clip, so the original stays exactly as you copied it.
