Paste as a mood board

Select a handful of images and paste them as one laid-out board instead of a pile you arrange yourself. It lands as editable vectors in Figma and as a picture everywhere else, without you choosing a format.

How do I paste images as one board?

  1. Open the popup and start selecting. Hold a clip, right-click one and choose Select, or click the multi-select button in the toolbar.
  2. Click the images and SVGs you want.
  3. Click Paste as Mood Board.
  4. Paste into Figma, a doc, an email, wherever it is going.

Why does it look different in Figma and in Google Docs?

Because it is. Tucket puts three formats on the clipboard at once, SVG, PNG and HTML, and each app takes the one it understands best.

Figma takes the SVG, so you get real editable vectors you can pull apart. Google Docs takes the PNG. Notion takes the HTML. You do not pick, the app does.

How do I tell what is going to be included?

Hover the Paste as Mood Board button and any selected clips it will not include dim out. Text clips are not part of a board, so if you have some selected they will fade. That is the button telling you its scope rather than silently dropping them.

Good to know

  • Each image keeps its native resolution and aspect ratio. Nothing is squashed to fit a grid.
  • The layout is non-overlapping, so nothing is hidden behind anything else.
  • It works from the floating Paste Board panel too, which is easier when you are collecting images over a few minutes.
